Non-allergic (Vasomotor) rhinitis
Overview
Non-allergic/Vasomotor rhinitis involves chronic sneezing or a congested, drippy nose with no apparent cause. The symptoms are similar to those of hay fever (allergic rhinitis), but none of the usual evidence of an allergic reaction is present.
Treatment options
Saline nasal wash and various nasal sprays are recommended therapy.
Acupuncture
Our acupuncture treatment specifically aims at the inflammation of the mucosa. By direct stimulation of the sphenopalatine nerve ganglion (SGP) on the face, the inflammation of nasal mucosa settled down quickly. Clinical researches showed over 30% improvement in ventilation.

The goal is to achieve long term remission of rhinitis. The initial treatment cycle is 6 sessions, which are delivered over 3-4 weeks. Most patients have significant relief after the first treatment.
